CHOOSING AN ATEX INDUSTRIAL VACUUM
ATEX zone classification is assessed to a business or production facility after a thorough risk analysis has been conducted, according to the Directive 2014/34 UE. ATEX zoning can also be attributed to just a section or area within a business.

USE A SUITABLE VACUUM
The conditions necessary for a combustible accident to occur are the presence of a combustible substance, oxygen, and an ignition source. There are upper and lower limits of the concentration of combustible dust or flammable gas in the atmosphere which can trigger an explosion. When using an industrial vacuum, oxygen is always present. There is also the possibility that dust clouds and flammable gas or vapours could also be present. Thus, two of the three elements that can generate an explosion are always present.

The machine manufacturer is responsible for supplying a machine that meets the related ATEX Certification requirements, along with a declaration of conformity.
