COVID-19 Statement: Nilfisk business continuity status and plans

As the current COVID-19 outbreak continues to rise across Australia, we want to highlight our continued commitment to provide you with solutions and services during this challenging time - with measures we've implemented to minimise impact on operations, while acting in accordance with local government guidelines.

COVID Safe Registration

Nilfisk Head Office has been registered as a COVID Safe business with NSW Government. As part of our registration, we have developed a Safety Plan which is applicable to all of our branches nationally and covers our sites, as well as our sales and service staff in the field.

Production and Supply

We do not see a significant impact on our ability to deliver. All production and distribution sites supplying to Nilfisk Australia continue operations, and freight across Australia state borders is unrestricted.

We have implemented extensive safety measures at all our Australian sites to secure the ongoing production and distribution of goods. This includes strict contingency plans, ongoing training and communication to all employees on effective virus protection, as well as no external visitors inside any sites.

Policies are changing all the time, however as Nilfisk is an important supplier into critical industries such as healthcare, food, agriculture and pharmaceuticals, we anticipate that further trade restrictions that may be put in place are not likely to impact our ability to continue service and supply our customers.

Sales and Service

It is business as usual for our Sales and Customer Service teams. We continue to visit customer sites and offer product demonstrations in person, however meetings can also be held using telephone, Skype or other digital solutions.

Our Service team will continue to service customers as needed. All service technicians have been instructed on how to demonstrate the necessary hygiene precautions and have been instructed to call ahead prior to a service visit in case there are any customer specific guidelines, they need to be aware of.
